Stafford Lake Service Line Replacement
The waterline serving Stafford Lake Park was installed in 1977. The agreement at the time of installation states that the District would install the line (which extends from Center Road, through the Indian Valley Golf Course, and through Stafford Lake) and that Marin County Parks would be responsible for replacement of the line upon failure.
The line failed over the July 4th weekend in 2023. Since that time, the District and Marin County Parks have been evaluating replacement alternatives to identify the most economical solution. With a preferred alternative selected, the project is currently in the design phase with construction of the new line currently planned for Summer/Fall 2027.
