Laboratory Services
The Water Quality group provides oversight to all aspects of North Marin Water District operations to ensure that water quality is protected.
The District’s Water Quality laboratory is certified by the California Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program to perform analyses for both regulated and unregulated contaminants. Surveillance and monitoring is performed at multiple points from source to tap.
Our laboratory performs thousands of water quality tests each year to ensure compliance with strict state and federal drinking water regulations as well as to support the work performed by other District departments.
In addition to performing regular quality testing, Water Quality staff respond to customer calls with specific information on water quality and provide laboratory testing services to customers, free of charge, when needed.
North Marin Water District’s Water Quality group also provides the Novato Sanitary District with routine sample collection, lab analysis and reporting.
